For me, photography is all about the art of observation coupled with masterful use of the craft. My camera is an extension of me and has been from early on. I worked hard for several summers (possibly at an illegal age) picking tomatoes for a local NJ farmer, saving for the purchase my first camera, an Olympus OM1. At that point, age 15, photographic and industrial arts were a filler to my 'college prep' coarse studies. Between tomato picking stints, I jump started my college education by enrolling in photography and art classes at a local community college. I went on to Kutztown University where earned a BFA in Communication Design, with a concentration in photography. Like many creative grads, I was side tracked on the plite to pay the light bills. Regardless of the detour, I have managed to build on my photographic interests. I've since moved beyond my 35mm days now photographing in medium format. I still enjoy printing my images and have started the process of digital achieving. My work has been lightly published and shown at a local level.
